These Terms of Use apply to this website, the Writuvo waitlist, and applications to the Writuvo beta program, all operated by Garber Dial Creative LLC (“Writuvo,” “we,” “us”). By using the site, joining the waitlist, or applying to beta test, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist means we’ll email you about the Writuvo launch and beta. It doesn’t guarantee access to Writuvo, a launch date, any particular feature, or any price. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Beta program applications
- You must be 18 or older to apply.
- The information you give us must be accurate and your own.
- Applying doesn’t guarantee a place. We choose testers at our discretion, may not respond to every application, and may change, pause, or end the beta program at any time.
- If you’re accepted, taking part will be subject to additional terms that we’ll present before you start using the app. You don’t have to accept them, but you won’t be able to join the beta without doing so.
- Beta software is pre-release. It may contain bugs, change without notice, be unavailable at times, or lose data. Keep your own backups of any writing that matters to you.
- Anything you tell us in your application about what you’d like from a writing platform is feedback we may use to improve Writuvo, without owing you compensation. Your stories and manuscripts remain yours; we don’t ask you to submit them with an application.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect through this site and how we use it.
Our content
The Writuvo name and logo, and the text, illustrations, and design of this site, belong to Garber Dial Creative LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to the site, but you may not copy, modify, or reuse our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Acceptable use
Please don’t misuse the site. That includes submitting false or someone else’s information, sending automated or bulk submissions, attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems, or using the site in any way that breaks the law.
Links to other sites
The site may link to websites we don’t control. We aren’t responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimers
This site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Descriptions of Writuvo refer to a product still in development; features, timing, and availability may change.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Garber Dial Creative LLC and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of this site, the waitlist, or a beta application. Our total liability for any claim relating to them is limited to US $100. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be waived by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction, except where the law of your place of residence gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date above. The updated terms apply from the date they’re posted.
