This Privacy Policy explains how Garber Dial Creative LLC (“Writuvo,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information on this website, including when you join the Writuvo waitlist or apply to beta test. We are the controller of that information. If you’re accepted into the beta, we’ll give you any additional terms and privacy information that apply to the Writuvo app before you start using it.

What we collect

• Waitlist. The email address you enter, the fact that you consented to receive updates, and when you did. We don’t ask for your name or anything else.
• Beta applications. Your name, your email address, and your answers to the application questions (what you write, the tools you use today, and why you’d like to take part), plus the fact and time of your agreement to our terms and whether you opted in to launch updates. Please don’t include sensitive personal information in your answers.
• Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes basic request data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party ad networks, and we don’t track you across other websites. Because we don’t track you, the site does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

Why we use it

• Waitlist emails are used for one purpose: to tell you about the Writuvo launch and beta and send related product updates. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by checking the consent box when you join.
• Beta applications are used to review your application, choose testers, and contact you about taking part. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement with you, and our legitimate interest in running a useful beta program. We only add you to launch updates if you separately opt in.
• Technical information is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site, based on our legitimate interest in doing so.

We don’t use anything you submit here to train AI models, and we don’t make automated decisions about you.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that process it on our behalf: Resend (stores the waitlist and delivers our emails, including beta applications sent to our inbox) and Vercel (hosts this website). We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Where it’s processed

We’re based in the United States, and our service providers process information in the United States and other countries. If you’re located elsewhere, your information will be transferred to countries whose data protection laws may differ from yours. Where required, our providers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for those transfers.

How long we keep it

• Waitlist: until Writuvo launches and for a reasonable period afterward, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.
• Beta applications: while the beta program is running and for a reasonable period afterward, or until you ask us to delete yours.

Your rights and choices

• Unsubscribe anytime using the link in any update email we send you.
• Access, correct, or delete your information, or withdraw a beta application, by emailing us at the address below.
• Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights, including the right to object to or restrict processing, to receive a copy of your information, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place. We won’t treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Children

This website isn’t directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. Beta applicants must be 18 or older. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information described here, including encrypted connections to this site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
